AR/ROL

This paper is definitely a work in progress.  I am excited to share it with everyone because I put so much time and effort into it.  I feel the implementations that I have added to my curriculum this year have payed off immensely.  It will be interesting to see how much of an impact technology has made in my classes.

Hunger Strike

Help!! I am perplexed with my 3 year old.  She is turning into Sybil.  One minute she can be this sweet, almost angelic little girl and the next minute turns into a surprisingly good imitation of Carrie Fischer in the Exorcist.  Her latest antic, which has been going on 2 weeks, includes a hunger strike at daycare, where she refuses snack, lunch, and anything to drink.  I have no idea what she could be protesting about at her age.  Maybe she is taking her own stance on the OccupyMN movement.  I am completely puzzled about her behavior so any ideas or suggestions would be more than welcomed!!

Halloween

It was a great Halloween night for our 3 year old.  Her first Halloween to actually go out and trick or treat, of course in true Geller style our 1 year old spiked a 103 temp. and had to stay home with Grandma.  It wouldn't be a holiday in our house without some sort of sickness present.  I also would like to add that the abundance of candy my 3 year old received was amazing.  Her adorable honeybee costume definitely upped her "cute factor", which directly contributed to the amount of candy she got.  It may honestly last us the year.

Starting my blog

I am not going to lie, when I first saw that we had to create a blog I was less than thrilled.  My immediate thought was, how I am I going to find the time to post and create something that would serve a purpose in my life.  After giving much thought I found myself realizing that this was a great opportunity for me to organize my thoughts on everything that I have going on in my life.  You will see posts that not only relate to my life as a teacher, but also as a parent and wife.
